The Pakistani Black Long Mulberry is a highly prized mulberry variety known for its very long, dark-colored fruitsand exceptional sweetness. The tree is vigorous, fast-growing, and highly productive, making it popular in home gardens and commercial orchards, especially in warm climates.
The fruits are extra-long and cylindrical, commonly 8–12 cm and sometimes longer. When ripe, they turn deep purple to almost black with a glossy appearance. The flesh is soft, juicy, and very sweet, with a rich mulberry flavor and low acidity. Seeds are tiny and barely noticeable.
